This summer has started with a splash! Servpro of Fairfield sponsored a team for the American Cancer Society Relay For Life in Vacaville. We had a DUNK TANK! It was a blast not only for Servpro of Fairfield, but also for our community supporters and survivors alike. Each survivor was given 3 chances to dunk whomever was in the hot seat. We were honored to have Monte Hoover with Gillespie's Abbey Carpet Center (And ambassador of the year in both the Fairfield AND Vacaville Chambers of Commerce) and Denny Cone, the Strategic Director of Relay For Life, California Division of the American Cancer Society sit in the "HOT SEAT" which helped our team DOUBLE what we raised last year. "Thank you so much to Ralph Kirker, of Kirker Fire Protection without Ralph's help, we couldn't have kept our sanity at the dunk tank. He was awesome. We also want to give a special thanks to Bryan Kirchgestner, with Bryan's Best Home Inspections who walked a whopping 50 MILES during the entire 24 hours.
It was an exciting and emotional event. Cancer affects all of us, in one way or another. This is just Servpro of Fairfield's way to FIGHT BACK! You can FIGHT BACK with us in Fairfield at Armijo High School, July 20, 2013. We are 21% to our goal of raising $1000.00. You can help by donating, joining our team, or just showing up at the Relay and viewing all the different on site fundraisers.
On another note, the dry season is upon us. We have been out to many fires recently, so we are focusing this month on fire damage restoration. We are interested in your feedback on this newsletter.
